My Day

On a typical day, I do so much! I'm the busiest little girl around. I thought I'd share some of the things I do throughout the day.
My School Bulletin Board.  Can you find me?

Here is me and my boyfriend Bo settling a little dispute over who will sit in the Toy Story Chair.

I won.  Here are my other friends during circle time where we read books and sing songs

This is our baby...we're having a little dispute over him too.

When I'm at home, I love to read books!
I really love to color. I have crayons, markers and paints.  Mommy set up a little art table for me.
My play tent.
Everyday I like to swing outside.

Time for dinner!  I'm a pro at using a fork.
Yummy!
I love taking baths!  I splash in the water.
Getting ready for bed.  Mommy or Daddy changes my diaper, puts my pjs on, and then I brush my teeth.
Finally, I get 2 books read to me before I lay in my crib and fall asleep.  Night night!

I'm Gonna Be a Big Sister!

It's true!  Mommy and Daddy think I turned out so great, they just had to have another.  I'm not sure if I should be happy or cry, but everyone else is sure excited about it.  The baby is due March 10th and he or she better not come too early and arrive on MY 2nd birthday...Feb 23rd.  Although, Mommy's bday is March 4th and Daddy's bday is March 7th so baby should hopefully arrive on any day other then those.  Oh yeah...Izzy's birthday is March 14th too.  Looks like our whole family will be Pisces...except for Lucy, which makes sense if you know her.

We're hopefully finding out next week if I'll have a little sister or brother.  Daddy thinks the baby will be a girl and mommy has no idea...doesn't matter to me.  Either way, I'm the boss and everything is mine.

"Oh dear...how will I ever get away from 2 kids, I'm scared"

18 Month Dr. Visit

Trying to call someone to get me out of here.
Can you believe it?  I'm such a big girl.  I turned 18 months on the 23rd and today was my wellness visit.  I was excited to show my doctor all the things I can do.  She quickly learned how much I can talk as the first thing I said when she came in the room was, "no."  I kept saying it throughout the check-up but unfortunately she didn't get the clue.  She was impressed with my 30-40 word vocabulary, ability to run and climb, and follow simple directions.  She said I was perfect!  Mommy and daddy knew this all along, but it was nice to hear it from a professional.

Waiting for them to call my name

Giving the little bird a hug
Some of my favorite words:  no, mommy, daddy, dog, ball, mine, milk, night night, uh-oh, oh no!, cow, blue, up, all done, help, bye bye, bubble, duck, Elmo, movie, ta da!, baby, Bo, bib, please, Uncle, and  Auntie.  I can even say the letters in my name...although the M is my favorite.

I heard the doctor telling mommy it was time to take away my paci at bedtime.  Mommy already took it away during the day AND at nap time and I'm not sure how I'll do without it at night.  This weekend mommy is going to cut the tips off all my pacifiers and cross her fingers that I remain a perfect sleeper.
I have a good size head...75th percentile
31.25  inches tall...40th percentile
23lbs, 13oz...40th percentile

Happy Birthday To Lucy

Lucy as a puppy

Happy Birthday to my big sister Lucy, who turned 5 yesterday or the day before (mommy can't remember).  Mommy used to give her Pup Cakes and make a big deal for her birthday, but nowadays, all she gets is a blog post.  She is the best big sister because she plays with me, cuddles with me, and gets very upset when I'm crying.  Mommy, daddy, and Izzy love her too.  She's definitely the trouble maker of the family, but she makes up for it.  We love you Poo!

Ariana's Birthday Party

A few weeks ago I went to my cousin Ariana's 6th Birthday Party at Build-a-Bear in Temecula.  We had so much fun!  Even though I was the youngest party goer, I followed the directions of the teacher and built myself a cuddly kitty.  I love her so much.  Thank you Ana for inviting me!
We all wore tutus

Here I am a few weeks later playing with my kitty from the party and my Build-a-Bear Danielle bought me for my 1st birthday.  I love playing with them.  I sit them on my chair, offer my milk sippy to them, and read them books.  I give them hugs and kisses too!

Sprinkler Park

I love playing at sprinkler parks.  It doesn't matter how cold I am or how strong the water pressure is....I love it!  I don't like it when mommy sacrifces herself to save me from high pressure water sprinklers.  I push her hands away and scream and yell so she lets me play.  People laugh and tell their older kids, "Look at the baby, she's not scared."  Of course I'm not scared. It's just freezing water shooting out of the ground at remarkably high speeds.  Daddy wouldn't be scared either; however, mommy is terrified and has gotten pretty wet trying to rescue me.  I sometimes shake and shiver because the water is so cold, but that doesn't mean I want to dry off.

Finally mommy was able to pry me away from the water play area and we played at the park.  I also love sticking the wood chips through the small holes in the jungle gym floor.  I could do this for a really long time.
