The Movies!

Not sure if you heard, but I was sick this week!  First time in 5 or 6 months!  I came down with a fever on Tuesday and it hung around for three days!  I wasn't my usual self...all I wanted to do was cuddle with Mommy or Daddy and watch Toy Story.  It is my favorite movie and I have watched it about 15 times this week.  Yes, that's right, I have Toy Story 2 in the house and Toy Story 1 in the car.  I say, "Buzz," over and over again until somebody around here gets the hint to put it on.

So...Mommy surpirsed me!  We had to stay home for a few days because I couldn't go to school being sick.  Mommy thought I would like getting out of the house, so she took me to see Toy Story 3!  We went to a discount theater on Wednesday morning.  It was amazing!  We were the only ones in the entire theater!
At first, mommy thought I wouldn't last more than 30 minutes, being only 20 months, but she was wrong.  As soon as we got through the previews, and Buzz came on the big screen, I was hooked.  I cuddled on Mommy's lap the whole time!  She had snacks for me and water.  We had such a good time, and I know mommy thought it was special too.

Enjoy the pics!

This is how we sat most the time

Yay!  Buzz!
All done

I didn't want Mommy to put me down.

Message to my Friends

Dear Friends,
Maybe you're in daycare...er, school, as I call it, and you tend to get sick a little more then others and think this is a bad thing, but really, it's not.  Now Mommies, Daddies, and Doctors say it's good because we're building a strong immune system for Kindergarten, but that's not what I'm talking about.  I'm about to tell you something I just really learned and from now on, when I get sick, I won't be so sad.  Here is a top 5 list of why being sick is a great thing for us little people.
  1. Food - you get anything you want!  I didn't eat much for a few days and before I knew it, Mommy was driving me to McDonalds just to order French Fries!  She also took me to Jamba Juice for my own cold smoothie and she gave me as much mik as I wanted!  Daddy even gave me Gaterade!
  2. The Paci - Usually, my paci lives in my bed and I only get it at bed time.  Well, the entire time I was sick, I was allowed to take it anywhere.  All I had to do was moan and mommy would give it back if she EVEN tried to take it away.  Actually, she didn't let me take it to the doctors...since I'm pretty sure she lied and said she took it away for good by now.
  3. TV - Mommy tries to limit my tv/movie time to a show a day or something like that, but this week  I watched tv as much as I wanted!  Toy Story was on replay and Nick Jr. filled in the other time slots.
  4. Visitors/Callers - When you're sick, everybody wants to talk to you!  Bubbe, Grandpa Young, Grandma and Grandpa called just to talk to me and ask my mommy how I was doing.  Bubbe and Grandma came over and brought me gifts!  Grandpa Young is coming next week and I hear he has something for me too!
  5. Cuddles - I got more cuddles this week then I ever have.  Everybody wanted to hold me and talk so nice to me. I sure did milk this and got extra tickles from all those around me.  Izzy and Lucy even cuddle with me and got upset if I was upset.
There you have it friends.  Not really that bad if you ask me...oh yeah...and Cherry Tylenol...delicious!!!

                                                                                                Love, Mia

I'm an Artist

September Catch-up

It's October, which means Mommy's back to work and I'm back to school. The last week of vacation, we did a lot of fun things. Bubbe came to visit and we went to Pretend City. It was so much fun. Mommy wanted to takes lots of pictures, but she spent most time trying to catch me as I ran all around. On the other days, we went to the park early in the morning because it was so hot during the day. I love the park!.

Fire! Fire!

Water play area...my favorite!  Mommy's least favorite

I wish I could color on the glass at home

I love to dance on the stage!

Static doesn't do much for my hair style

Auntie Dianna

In September, Auntie Dianna came to see me and Mommy!  I got to spend a few days with her and it was so nice!  Then Mommy and Dianna left for a few days and left me with Daddy.  It's okay, Daddy and I had a great time!
