My Friend

I like to grab his hand and put it in my mouth.  He doesn't seem to mind.

Almost everyday I get to hang out with my friend Cameron.  We usually get taken on walks together.  Sometimes, he hangs out in my crib with me and looks at the butterflies.  His mom, Stefani, makes me laugh.  We have a lot of fun together.  He is only 2 weeks younger than me.

His mom is soooo funny!

I Can Roll Over!

Well...I finally did it! I rolled from my back to my belly. I've been trying for weeks now and I finally was able to get over my arm. My mom was looking away and was bummed when she looked back to find me on my belly. I'm getting better at it everyday. Since I can roll over now, I started to sleep without being swaddled. It's quite an adjustment for me, but I'm such a good sleeper I'm comfortable in my sleep sack.

My Room

Finally!  My room is all done.  My mom has finished my room and I love it.  The theme is owls and birds and it's just so relaxing.  Everyone helped so much.  Thank you to Grandpa Young for my furniture!  It's the nicest furniture in the house.  Thank you to Jean for making the most beautiful quilt and curtains that match my bedding perfectly.  Thank you to Grandma Stewart for the pictures on the wall and my name in letters.  Thank you to Auntie Nidzara and Uncle Darren for the cutest rug ever!  Thank you to Uncle William and Auntie Julie for hanging everything.  Thank you to Taeler for helping my mom put the tree up and stopping her from adding a million birds all over the walls.  Thank you to daddy for supporting mommy and letting her create the room for me she dreamed up.  Thank you to mommy for giving me the prettiest room a little girl could ever ask for.

I Can Sit Up Now!

Look at me!  I can sit up all by myself with the help of my Bumbo Chair.  This is the latest thing mom and dad bought for me.  Since I can hold up my head pretty good, I am able to sit in this chair and hang out.

I'm a Sleeper!

I may look like my daddy, but I definitely take after my mom's sleeping ability.  I've been sleeping about 8 hours a night in my crib.  I love my room so much , that I fall right asleep when I'm put in my crib.  Daddy first swaddles me, then mommy rocks me, last I go quickly to sleep listening to the rain forest sounds.  Although I sleep all night, I'm very active and hungry during the day.  When I wake up in the morning I smile as soon as mom and dad come to get me.  My parents are hoping this isn't a phase and that I'll be a good sleeper all my life.

My Funny Parents

Ever since I was born, my mommy and daddy stare at me for most of the day and do silly things to get me to smile and laugh.  They think I'm so cute.  I love to hear my dad whistle and see them make funny facial expressions.  I still love when people stick their tongue out.  It's just so funny I can't get enough of it.  My mommy likes to sit me in front of the mirror because I enjoy looking at myself.  When I focus on my face, I smile and coo.
