A Day with Uncle and Auntie

I've been spending lots of time with Uncle William and Auntie Julie.  They play with me so much.  Last week, Uncle picked me up at my house and took me back to his.  We went swimming, played in the shower, ate popcorn and played all around the house.  Then he dropped me back off at home.  While we had fun, mommy and daddy went to the market.  Enjoy the pictures!

Cough, Cough

Looks like my healthy luck ran out. During Mommy's first week of vacation, I got sick! I was wheezing pretty bad for a few days from Croup, but I was feeling pretty good on the third day. Mommy is very nice to me when I'm sick. She gives me extra Yogurt Melts (my favorite) and she even gave a a ring pop that came in a party favor bag. A few seconds after mommy gave it to me, she regretted it and started plotting to take it away. I sure did put up a fight when she took it away, but she said it was too messy and too much sugar. Anyhow, I loved it for about 2 minutes and can't wait until I get my hands on another one.

Even though it was no fun being sick the first few days of our vacation from school, it was kinda nice staying home all day with mommy.

Busy Weekend

Daddy has been gone for 6 days now and mommy and I have had so much fun! This weekend was packed with fun things to do. On Friday, Grandma came to stay with me. On Saturday morning, we went to breakfast and Gymboree. Then mommy and I headed off to Long Beach for my friend Hana's 3rd birthday party. On Sunday, Mommy, Uncle, and Auntie took me to California Adventure. I especially loved to play in the water sprinklers in Bug's Life. In the afternoon we went to My Gym for my friend Rylee's 2nd birthday. It was so much fun! When I got home it was the best surprise of all...Daddy was home! I couldn't stop smiling and hugging him.

I'm getting really excited because Mommy's last day of work in Tuesday and then she has 3 weeks off...yay!

The teacher told everyone to find a lap to ride and I decided to go sit right in the middle, all by myself

I would have played in the water for ever...but mommy made he leave and Uncle William had to carry me because my shoes were soaked and mommy wasn't prepared to change me.

My First Real Date

Last Thursday started out like any other day.  On the way to school, I heard mom call Uncle William on the way to work.  She had completely forgotten that she had GATE training after work.  She had made no arrangements for me to be watched!  Silly mommy.  Fortunately, Uncle William came up with the idea of picking me up at daycare and taking me to Disneyland. We had so much fun!  We went from 3pm to 6pm!  Mommy even wrote him and told him to feed me a snack at 4:30 and dinner at 6:00,  Uncle William and I decided we were getting so much done at Disneyland and we were having such a good time that there was no need to eat.  Anyway, I had the best time ever and so did Uncle.  He is the best and I think we'll have many more dates.

 

 

When we first got there is was so cold, but it warmed up and I had to take off my jacket.

Afterward, since Uncle William was a bit late dropping me back off, we decided to meet daddy and mommy at a restaurant since we were all starving. 

I'm Back!

I love Gymboree!  

I was sick so often in February and March, I didn't get to go to Gymboree that much.  I had so much fun the last time mommy took me.  Enjoy the pictures!

I went down the slide at least 10 times.  My cheek is red because the last few times I chose to slide down with my face to the slide.  It was funny at the time.

New Car

Mommy finally got a new car and I couldn't be happier.  Not only is my new ride much nicer, I'm finally facing forward!  It's so much better being able to talk to mommy while she's driving.  We have a lot of fun, especially in the morning on our way to school.  I really enjoy looking out the window and I laugh when the wind blows in my face.  Pretty soon, there will be TV screens in the monitors and I'll be able to watch DVD's.
