1st Birthday Take Two

The weekend after my friend birthday party, I had a family party at Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's house.  I must be the luckiest girl in the world to get another awesome party. I loved seeing all my family!  We ate yummy food, played and visited.  I'm still not a fan of cake and wouldn't eat it!

Here is my apron!  The other pocket says, "I cook better than my daddy."  Now that I have my own kitchen, I can prove it.

Grandma got me this piano.  I heard my parents sigh, because they know how much I love to make noise.  I cannot stop playing my piano.  Once it ended up on the table...hmmm....I wonder why?  Thankfully it's back on the floor where I can reach it.

Cousin Melissa bought me this hula outfit and I just had to put it on.

Cousin Tori made me this pillow.  It is so pretty and it matches my room perfectly.

Two parties later, my house is becoming much better.  I have toys to play with and fun things to do in every room of my house.  I'm a lucky girl with the best family and friends.

1st Birthday Take One

On February 21st I was having a typical day with my mom and dad.  I had a wonderful morning nap and when I woke up, everything was different.  There were lots of people at my house!  I had a special little outfit on and my hosue was decorated so pretty.  Even the table was moved to make a place for playing.  I had so much fun playing with my friends and doing fun things.  

My new kitchen is the best addition to our house yet!  Grandpa bought me my first kitchen and it is the nicest they come.  I have all utensils and kitchen essentials.  I have lots of felt food from Grandma Stewart and Jean made me my very own apron.

Turns out I'm not a big fan of cake.  Guess I'm just like my daddy.

Of course I got a car. Uncle William and Auntie Julie bought me my very first car.  I push a button and it goes!!!  I love it and even go outside to drive around.  Once I get the steering down, getting around the house will be much easier.

"Uh Oh"

This video shows me a few months ago saying "uh oh." I say "uh oh" all day long. It's my favorite thing to say. Mommy recorded me when I first starting saying it. She's not exactly sure where I learned it, but everyone really seems to like it so I do it a lot. It is so fun to throw things and have people hand it back to you. "Uh oh" works everytime.

Daddy was trying to video me dancing. I love to dance to music.

I'm in trouble

As you know, I'm usually a perfect sleeper, but sometimes, I don't nap. I just don't do it. When that happens, I typically play with the teddy and rainforest in my crib, but this day I cried. I cried for so long and then mommy FINALLY saved me! Then, everything was so funny, I couldn't stop laughing.

Walker and Climber

I started walking this week and mommy has yet to get me on video, but this video shows me a month or so ago climbing stairs. I've been doing this since I was 8 month old. I love to climb! I get a lot of practice at Gymboree and our 3 sets of stairs at home! Here I'm doing some of my favorite things. I play in the loft and then climb the stairs to go to my room. I still hear them talking about gates, but I yet to see any.

Uncle and Auntie Spoil Me

I've been spending lots of time with Auntie Julie and Uncle William.  I like to go to their house and play for hours.  I have so much fun there.  Last week when we were playing, Uncle William left and went to Toys R Us to buy me toys.  It was such a surprise!  I even saw my brithday present that Uncle William is dying to give me.  Good thing Aunite is making him wait until my birthday.

Mommy didn't think I'd be going outside when she took me over to their house, so that's why I'm in my pajamas with no shoes.  It was cold outside too!

This is so fun!  I love coming to Auntie and Uncle's
