My 6 Month Check-up

I finally had my 6 month doctor's visit. It was so much fun until the end when I got my shots. The doctor was very impressed with my development. He expected me to only sit up for a few seconds, but I can sit up forever. I can even pull myself up when I'm laying down and sit up on my own. Mom and dad are going to lower the crib mattress this weekend because I can stand up in my crib if I hold on to the side. I am also crawling/scooting/rolling very efficiently. I say "ma ma ma ma" and I can make all sorts of sounds. My mom is pretty sure I'm gifted, but daddy says I'm just crazy.

I weigh 16lbs and 14 oz. I'm in the 75th percentile...Yay me!

I'm 25.5 inches long, which puts me in the 45th percentile

My favorite thing to do at the Doctor's office is tear apart the paper on the table.  I like to destroy it as much as possible.  I wish I could get some of this stuff at home.

So far this appointment is so much fun!

I Love Daddy!

I have the best daddy in the whole world.  When he comes home from work I get so excited!  He throws me in the air and flips me all around.  Mommy always says "stop, stop," but he doesn't listen to her.  Thank goodness because I love playing with him.  I love to cuddle with him too.

Today Mommy and I went to Uncle William and Auntie Julie's house to visit. We played and I started to scoot myself across the carpet. I know I'm going to get moving pretty soon. There's just so many things I need to see and put in my mouth. Uncle William wrapped me up in a blanket and flew me around the room. It was amazing even though mommy looked worried.

Addisyn's Birthday Party!

Today I went to my cousin Addisyn's 3rd birthday party. I had so much fun. Everybody was making me laugh. Even though I'm a little cranky because of my new teeth, I had a great time. Enjoy my pictures!

Eating Like a Big Girl

I’ve been eating rice cereal for almost 2 months now so Mommy decided it was time to get a highchair. I feel like such a big girl in it. I like to sit in it and watch Daddy cook dinner. I love to eat sitting in my highchair because eating is one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes I’m so hungry I try to eat the tray. I also like to throw toys and food down on the floor for brother Izzy and sister Lucy. Pretty soon I hear I’m going to start eating vegetables. Yummy! I can’t wait!

Flower Girl in Training

I have a very important job coming up. Uncle William and Auntie Julie are getting married on September 26th. I will be making my debut as the flower girl. Even though I'm quite advanced, I won't be able to walk down the aisle . So I will be pulled in a wagon. To get ready for the big day, I practiced! It was so much fun I couldn't stop laughing, I even held onto the sides. I can't wait to get my pretty dress my mommy is getting made for me.
