I Can Sit Up Now!

Look at me!  I can sit up all by myself with the help of my Bumbo Chair.  This is the latest thing mom and dad bought for me.  Since I can hold up my head pretty good, I am able to sit in this chair and hang out.

I'm a Sleeper!

I may look like my daddy, but I definitely take after my mom's sleeping ability.  I've been sleeping about 8 hours a night in my crib.  I love my room so much , that I fall right asleep when I'm put in my crib.  Daddy first swaddles me, then mommy rocks me, last I go quickly to sleep listening to the rain forest sounds.  Although I sleep all night, I'm very active and hungry during the day.  When I wake up in the morning I smile as soon as mom and dad come to get me.  My parents are hoping this isn't a phase and that I'll be a good sleeper all my life.

My Funny Parents

Ever since I was born, my mommy and daddy stare at me for most of the day and do silly things to get me to smile and laugh.  They think I'm so cute.  I love to hear my dad whistle and see them make funny facial expressions.  I still love when people stick their tongue out.  It's just so funny I can't get enough of it.  My mommy likes to sit me in front of the mirror because I enjoy looking at myself.  When I focus on my face, I smile and coo.

Shot Twice in Each Leg and Still Alive

Good news...I'm 2 months old!  Bad news...I had to go to my doctor for my well visit.  It was going okay, until Daddy held my arms down and some lady gave me shots.  Before the shots, it was actually fun.  I got weighed, measured and checked out.  The first vaccine I had to get I got to drink.  I thought it tasted so good.  The nurse said it tasted like rotovirus and that most babies don't like it.  I sucked it down so fast and she said it was the best a baby has ever done.  Enjoy the pictures of my visit.

Here's me getting my head measured.  I'm in the 30th percentile for head size, which is quite a shock since my daddy has a really big head.

This is after my shots.  Ouch!

Yummy...Rotovirus

I'm now 21.25" tall, which puts me in the 10th percentile for height.  Looks like I won't be a basketball player.

I weigh 11.2 lbs!  I'm a good eater putting me in the 60th percentile for weight.

Here's me waiting for the doctor with daddy and grandma.

Smiley Girl

I found my tongue!  It is so fun to play with.  My mommy and daddy are always sticking their tongues out at me and then I copy them.  It makes me smile.  Here are some pictures of me being silly.  The video shows my mom trying to get me to stick my tongue out for the camera.  I'm a bit camera shy and I really didn't do much for the video, but enjoy it anyway!

I was all swaddled and ready to nap, but started to smile because
I was able to stick out my tongue.  I'm so funny.

I'm a Model!

I had my first real photo shoot today and I must say I think I should apply to be America's Next Top Model as soon as I meet the height requirement.  Mommy and Daddy took me to Kiddie Kandids for my 6 week photos and at first I wasn't too happy.  Fortunately, there was a real funny lady there making all sorts of funny sounds at me.  I loved it!  She was so impressed that I could hold my head up for so long.  I finally got to wear the very cute onsie with ruffles Grandma Stewart bought me.  I'm very tired now as modeling is a tough job.  Enjoy the pictures!

Izzy Stole My Binky!

The other day mommy and I were lounging on the couch when we noticed something in Izzy's mouth.  He was facing the other direction so we couldn't tell what it was.  After a few minutes, mommy called his name and he looked at us.  Izzy stole my binky!  He was sitting around with it in his mouth.  Mommy couldn't stop laughing, but I didn't think it was that funny.  Thankfully, he didn't chew it.  After watching me use it for weeks, he knew just to hold it in his mouth.  He really is a good brother and loves sitting next to me and resting his head on my legs.  Mommy was able to get a picture of him since he seemed to enjoy having it in his mouth.  Hopefully, this doesn't happen again because I love my Paci and didn't plan on sharing it with others.
